Summary Timeline

Early 2007

• Availability of the new 03 number range.

January 2008

• 0870 revenue sharing will cease.
• 0870 calls will cost the same as calls to national-rate geographic numbers unless a price pre-announcement is made.
• 0871 will be regulated by ICSTIS under a new code of practice.

July 2009

• The 070 range will be a mobile-only range.
• Use of 070 for personal numbering will cease.
